Power of Attorney - Registering a representative to act on your behalf

Power of attorney is a legal authority through which one person (the donor), gives another person (the attorney or representative) authority to act on their behalf.

Obtaining a power of attorney may be suitable should you a need a friend or relative to administer accounts on your behalf.  Examples of when power of attorney could be used include working away long term, a long stay in hospital or loss of mental capacity.
