Our no frills Easycash account.

Easycash is our basic bank account that's straightforward and easy to use. With an Easycash account you will be able to:

  • Arrange for credits such as your salary or benefits to be paid straight into your account
  • Use our Express Pay-In boxes and our Immediate Deposit Machines* in branches to pay cash notes and cheques into your account
  • Arrange standing orders, Direct Debits and one-off money transfers to pay bills and other payments straight from your account
  • Pay for goods and services with your Visa Electron debit card. Wherever you see the Visa Electron sign in the UK and when travelling abroad**. You can also use it to get cashback and for shopping online.
  • Use a card and PIN to withdraw up to £300 cash free of charge at Halifax, Bank of Scotland and LINK cash machines *** and Post Office®  counters. Withdrawals of over £300 can be made at any branch counter.   
  • Access your account 24-hours a day, 7 days a week using our online banking services
  • Use our telephone banking service by calling 08458 50 55 25, to carry out routine account queries, such as balance enquiries, setting up bill payments or cancelling Direct Debits
  • Receive quarterly statements either by post or online

With Easycash you won't be able to:

  • Earn interest on credit balances
  • Use the branch counter service when withdrawing less than £300, making deposits or carrying out routine account queries
  • Receive an overdraft, chequebook or cheque guarantee card
