24-hour telephone banking at your fingertips
Here are just some of the features of telephone banking: check your balance; pay bills; transfer money to other accounts or organisations; set up or change standing orders; cancel direct debits and get further information on our other great products and services.
So call us on 08457 20 30 40 (available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week) to start telephone banking. If you have an Easycash account, you'll need to call us on a different number, it's 08458 50 55 25 (available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week). We currently don't offer telephone banking to Expresscash customers.
Don't worry, you can still use your keypad to enter certain sensitive information – and you can make more than one transaction so you don't need to call again.
There’s a lot more to our cash machines than you think
With your Halifax debit card, you have free-of-charge access to most cash machines 24/7 showing the LINK logo – other machine owners may charge you for this service.
You can also use Halifax and Bank of Scotland cash machines to: pay in cash and cheques; get mini statements; top up your mobile and even change your PIN
Remember, help prevent fraud by shielding the keypad when you enter your PIN at a cash machine, or when you're paying with your card in shops.
