Typical Call Example
The dialogue from a typical call below shows you the kind of questions you'll be asked and just how simple making transactions can be.
System: "Tell us which of the following 3 options you want to do. 'Pay a Bill', 'Move Money' between your accounts held with us or 'Transfer Elsewhere?'" |
Customer: "Pay a Bill." |
| "OK. Pay a bill. I have found 3 payments set up on your account. British Telecom, Northwest Water and British Gas. Which do you want to pay?" |
| "British Gas." |
"And how much do you want to pay" "Your available balance is 100 pounds and 13 pence. You can either tell me the amount or, if you'd prefer, you can use your telephone keypad. How much do you want to pay?" |
| "53 pounds and 47 pence." |
"So that's 53 pounds and 47 pence to British Gas. Is that correct? To hear the details again just say 'repeat '." |
"Yes." |
"Thanks. The payment will take up to 4 bank working days to arrive and once sent, it can't be stopped, amended or retrieved. "Shall I put that through for you?" |
| "Yes." |
