Halifax Options Insurance gives you a little extra help when you need it most.

Our contents insurance gives you:

• standard blanket cover of up to £50,000 should you need to repair or replace your possesions (you will need to specify your sum insured if your home has more than 5 bedrooms)
• the option to choose cover of up to £100,000 sum insured if you need more cover than our blanket policy (prices vary based on the level of cover you choose)
• new for old replacement when we can’t repair the item
• up to 20% of the total sum insured for alternative accommodation if your home was made uninhabitable due to an insured event - that's up to £10,000 with our blanket policy!
• accidental damage cover for your entertainment equipment, TV, home cinema and PC equipment as standard
• up to 33% of the total sum insured for high risk items cover as standard
• the option to choose cover of up to £7,500 for any single high risk item
• a voluntary excess so you can tailor the policy to suit your budget. Our compulsory excess is £50, to reduce your quote add £50, £100 or £200 as a voluntary excess on top
• cover up to £250 for damaged locks and lost and stolen keys.
