300,000 Child Trust Funds opened
300,000 Halifax Child Trust Funds have now been opened. (19th September, 2007)
The milestone account was opened online by Sarah and Marcus Firmin from High Wycombe, for their son Edward.
Sarah said: "We opened the account online because it was easy and all of the information was to hand. Leading busy lives and also caring for a small child makes it difficult to get to a local branch."
