Monthly repayment table
This table gives you a rough indication of your monthly repayments – it's based on the overall cost for comparison of 7.4%. The actual rate available will depend upon your circumstances.
As a Halifax mortgage customer you can choose from a range of fixed rates and tracker rates to keep your repayments low.
Amount of Further Advance | 10 years | 15 years | 20 years |
| £5,000 | £58.05 | £44.94 | £38.76 |
| £10,000 | £116.11 | £89.88 | £77.53 |

The interest rate is variable which means your payments can go up as well as down.
Are there any fees I should be aware of?
There is a £349 arrangement fee. You can pay this upfront or add it on to the loan - it's up to you. If you add the fee on to the loan you will be charged interest.
If you borrow more than 90% of the value of your home, we might need to revalue your property. This costs from £100 and we'll let you know in advance if this is needed.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
