Sort out the legal work
Choosing the right conveyancer (the person who sorts out the legal work when it comes to buying/selling your home) is really important - they can help your move go through quickly and smoothly.
You can choose to have all the legal work carried out by a firm from our panel of conveyancers. This means you can expect:
- A first class service - you can feel reassured that we'll work with the conveyancer to help make your move straightforward, from start to finish.
- Great value - we'll give you a fixed price quotation so you don't have to worry about any hidden fees. Plus if the sale of the property doesn't proceed for any reason, you'll not be charged a fee by the conveyancer acting for you. However you may have to pay disbursements, such as search fees.
To be kept informed - we'll make sure you're kept informed with how things are progressing. Plus you can choose how you want to be contacted - by phone, email or text - it's up to you. You can also track your progress online at any time of the day.
Arranging to use the Halifax Conveyancing Service is really simple - you can speak to a Mortgage Adviser to complete your mortgage application. We'll then arrange for a conveyancer to contact you within 24 hours to start the ball rolling.
