Under the ISA Regulations we must deduct a flat rate charge, currently 20% from interest on your Self-Select Stocks & Shares ISA or Self-Select Funds ISA and pay this charge to HM Revenue and Customs.
Interest rates for a Share Dealing Account are only applicable if you hold the cash in a Cash Management Account (HCMA). For new customers, an HCMA will automatically be opened as part of your Halifax Share Dealing Account and is used to hold cash pending investment. Please read the Halifax Share Dealing Service Terms and Conditions for more information.
*Effective from 1st June 2008 all Halifax Share Dealing Account's will have interest paid net.
