ISA limits

Each tax year HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) sets an amount which investors can put into their ISA. The ISA limit for the current tax year is £11,520. You can choose to invest your full allowance into a stocks & shares ISA or alternatively you can split your allowance between a cash ISA and a stocks & shares ISA, as long as no more than £5,760 is saved in a cash ISA in any one tax year. For example, if you invest £10,000 into your stocks & shares ISA you must save no more than £1,520 in a cash ISA.
