Selling HBOS Shares
If you hold HBOS shares in a Shareholder Account, you can sell them real-time during market hours through our automated telephone service by calling us on 08705 711 117. You will need to have your folio number to hand which you can find on your Shareholder Account Statement.
When requested, you must key in your folio number ignoring any leading "I" but inputting any "1"s. For example, enter "10012345678" as "0012345678". If you don't have a touchtone phone or you would prefer to speak to someone, you can hold the line and you will be transferred to a Dealing Assistant who will be able to help you.
To sell your HBOS shares held in a HBOS Shareholder Account, the following charges apply:

| Up to £2,500 | £17.50 |
| Over £2,500 up to £5,000 | £32.50 |
| Over £5,000 up to £10,000 | £42.50 |
| Over £10,000 up to £60,000 | £62.50 |
| Over £60,000 | 0.1% of the value of the deal |
If you sell any investments worth over £10,000 you pay a levy of £1.00 to the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers (PTM).
The opening hours of the London Stock Exchange are from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday excluding English Bank Holidays. If we accept instructions outside these hours we will carry out your deal as soon as is reasonably practical after the start of the next dealing period.
