If you are upgrading and don’t already have a Planned Overdraft you can apply for one once you complete this application.

Applying for this product does not improve your eligibility for an overdraft.

If approved, you won’t pay any daily overdraft fees on the first £300 of any Planned Overdraft that you use.

How the monthly fee works

The Ultimate Reward Current Account will cost £17 a month. However, if in the previous calendar month you pay in £750 or more and pay out at least 2 different direct debits and remain in credit you'll pay the lower monthly account fee of £15. You'll also need to keep your account open/not change it to a different type of current account until the fee is due to be debited (by the second working day of the following calendar month).

The insurance cover and other services that come with the Ultimate Reward Current Account Benefits Package are renewed every month and will end if: (i) your Ultimate Reward Current Account is closed; (ii) you fail to pay the monthly fee for the account; (iii) your account is changed to another type of account with us; (iv) your residential address is no longer in the UK. Any other insurance policies that you yourself have taken out at a discount as part of the benefits package will not be affected.
