Getting started is easy

Apply for an Agreement in Principle (AIP) to find out how much you could borrow. It should only take about 15 minutes and you don’t have to continue with a full mortgage application.

We'll do a soft credit check as part of the AIP. This can only be seen by you on your credit report and won’t affect your credit rating.

If you've already started an application you can continue where you left off using the details we gave you.

How remortgaging works

Completing your remortgage can take between 4 and 8 weeks, depending how long each step takes. This can vary based on your circumstances.

Step 1

You'll need to:

Step 2

We'll then:

  • Get in touch and arrange a property valuation
  • Review your application and documents
  • Make you a mortgage offer if everything is okay
Step 3

The conveyancer will:

  • Review our mortgage offer
  • Carry out all the searches on the property
  • Prepare the mortgage deed and ask you to sign it

On your completion day:

  • Our conveyancer will pay off the mortgage with your current lender. The borrowing on the property will then move to us.
  • We’ll send you a letter to let you know your mortgage has started with us.
