Home Emergency Cover

Halifax Home Emergency Cover helps give you total peace of mind by protecting you against the cost of emergency repairs which wouldn’t normally be covered. It ensures you can act quickly to do whatever is necessary to make your home safe and secure so that you can avoid further damage. Or make your home fit to live in by restoring your electricity, gas or water services if they have totally failed.

Make sure you can act fast without worrying about the cost of repairs. Any home emergency caused by one of the following incidents will be covered:

• plumbing problems related to leaking pipes, blocked drains or leaking radiators
• blockages in toilet waste pipes
• sudden and unforeseen roofing problems such as leaks or tiles blown off during a storm or bad weather
• broken or damaged windows and doors presenting a security risk to your home
• gas or electricity failure within your home
• central heating or boiler failure
• hot water failure
• vermin

Additional cover for Buildings and Contents Accidental Damage, Legal Expenses, and Personal Belongings can also be arranged for an additional cost.
