Halifax Legal Expenses Cover is designed to protect and negotiate your legal rights. It’s almost like having your own personal lawyer as it provides up to £50,000 cover for incidents such as employment or contract disputes, claims for personal injury caused by a third party and much, much more.

The long list of things covered includes:

• Employment issues such as unfair dismissal
• Contract disputes for example with tradesmen or holiday companies
• Personal injuries caused by lack of care by a third party
• Tax protection against HM Revenue and Customs investigation.
• Legal defence against prosecution arising from employment
• Property protection for things such as boundary disputes
• Reclaiming the cost of Jury Service
• Claims don’t affect your household no claims discount

Additional cover can be arranged including Buildings and Contents Accidental Damage, Home Emergency, and Personal Belongings.
