How to Register a Claim

If you need to make a claim or check the progress of an existing claim, please call us on 0845 600 6001. Lines are open Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat 9am-1pm. You can also register your home insurance claim online.

One number is all you need – our experienced claims handlers are here to answer all your questions. Plus, there are no forms to fill in. Simply call us and we'll do the rest.

Personal Service
Our Personal Claims Consultants will be there to help throughout the claims process if we have to visit your home to discuss your claim.

Prompt
We'll arrange repair or replacement of damaged items within 24 hours of your agreement. After you have agreed your claim, you'll usually receive payment into your bank account in 3 - 5 working days. If you request payment by cheque, these can take up to 10 working days to reach you.

Expert
Work carried out by our recommended builders or approved contractors is guaranteed for 12 months.

Calls will be recorded and may be monitored for training and/or quality purposes. Calls from BT landlines to 0845 numbers will cost no more than 2p a minute plus an 8p connection fee. The price of calls through other phone companies and from mobile phones will be different. The call price we have quoted was correct in January 2009.
