Important information: From 18th September 2016 we will no longer introduce Halifax Travel Insurance. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

This will not affect existing customers that already hold:

  • an existing travel insurance policy with us, or
  • a qualifying current account where travel insurance is provided as an added benefit of the account.

On 22nd November 2015 the underwriter of our policies changed. To find out which policy is applicable, you will need to check when your policy started then find the information you need.

Make a claim

If you need to make a claim, including a claim for legal expenses call 0345 307 3801. Lines open Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm, times may vary on bank holidays.

Call within 31 days or as soon as possible after the incident to make a claim for:

• Emergency medical expenses
• Cancellation or curtailment
• Missed departure
• Delayed departure
• Personal money, passport and documents
• Baggage
• Personal liability.
