Power of attorney

Power of attorney

Power of attorney is a legal authority through which one person (the donor), gives another person (the attorney or representative) authority to act on their behalf.  For more information including details of how to register, see the Power of attorney page.

Managing power of attorney accounts online

If you already have power of attorney and would like to be able to manage your donor's accounts online, or open new accounts on their behalf, you'll need to visit your local branch.

You'll be required to present your power of attorney document and provide suitable identification to confirm your name and address.

The power of attorney document must grant you full authority to deal with all of your donor's banking affairs, not just specific accounts, for you to be able to manage your donor's accounts online.

This online registration will be completely separate to any online access you may have for your own personal accounts, and will have separate sign-in details.
