Halifax Bonus Gold

From 5 April 2009 Halifax Bonus Gold is no longer available to new customers. If you have a Halifax Bonus Gold and would like a copy of your conditions please ask a member of staff in any of our branches.

Earn a conditional annual bonus of  0.50% AER/gross pa, as long as you make no more than three withdrawals a month, keep a balance of at least £5,000 and the account stays open until the next anniversary of the day we receive your opening deposit.

  • Minimum opening balance - £5,000. If your balance falls below £5,000, you will receive the Halifax Liquid Gold interest rate
  • No maximum balance
  • 3 withdrawals per month - without notice or loss of interest (or loss of bonus, provided you meet the other qualifying conditions). Other withdrawals with no loss of interest (apart from the bonus) as long as you give us at least 30 days' written notice or you will lose an amount equal to 30 days' interest on the amount you withdraw
  • Unlimited deposits
  • Manage your savings - traditional branch access with a passbook and online 24/7
