Halifax Savers Prizes Draw


As previously announced in June 2025, our Savers Prize Draw has now ended and registration is closed. The information on this page has been retained in case further details are required for winners. This page will be removed in due course.

  • Keep £5,000 or more in a qualifying account for a month.
  • It’s quick to register and you just need to do it once.

Let’s take a closer look

  • Register now and we'll add your name to the prize draw when you have £5,000 or more in your qualifying savings accounts. You must have £5,000 for the whole calendar month before each draw and meet all qualifying conditions. All prize winners are selected at random. We'll let you know if your name is selected.

    There isn't a set closing date. Our Halifax Prize Draws could end at any time, usually with at least two months’ notice.

  • We’ll get in touch with all winners within a month using the address we have for you. Before giving your prize, we’ll ask to see proof of identity, age, and residency.

    We’ll usually pay any prizes straight into your Halifax or Bank of Scotland account. We'll do this within three working days of confirming your prize. Keep in mind, you may need to go to branch to confirm your details and collect your prize.

  • We keep a list of the winners from the last 6 months in branch.

  • Joint accounts qualify for the Halifax prize draw and if you both want to enter the draw, each of you will need to register separately.

    We split the money in any joint accounts equally when we work out your total savings balance.

    We’ll get in touch with all winners within a month using the address we have for you. Before giving your prize, we’ll ask to see proof of identity, age, and residency.
