That's why our monthly Commission Countdown events give all our customers a regular chance to trade at a reduced commission rate during our offer periods. You don't need to do anything to qualify for this special rate – just trade as normal within the Commission Countdown times and you'll save on our dealing commission!

These events will take place throughout 2013, and we'll be in touch to let you know exactly when by email. If you're not registered for emails from us, keep an eye out for the Commission Countdown logo on the share dealing homepage, which will be updated ahead of any offers.

Please don't forget that reduced commission doesn't mean reduced risk. No matter what commission rate you're paying, share prices can go down as well as up and you might not get back the full amount you invest.

Will I pay anything else?

All UK purchases are subject to stamp duty at 0.5%.

As always with international stocks, foreign currency conversions are required to settle international transactions. We apply a charge of 1% either side of the available exchange rate when trading. This charge will still be applicable to all international trades which execute within the offer period.
