To regularly reward our customers for choosing Halifax Share Dealing, we'll be offering special trading promotions throughout the year.
Previous trading offers
May Day – we reduced trading commission for all online purchases and sales to just £4.95. This offer ran from 8am – 9pm for international trades and between 12pm and 2pm for UK shares.
Leap Year – to celebrate the leap year - and as we have 366 days this year - we gave you the chance to purchase shares online for just 366 pence (£3.66) commission. The offer ran from 12pm - 2pm for UK equities and from 8am - 9pm for international shares.
Funds offer – to celebrate being awarded ‘Best Funds Provider’ by Shares Magazine for the third year running, we offered commission refunds of up to £119.50 on equity trades when you invested in funds (or transferred funds to us) between 22nd November and 29th February.
New Year Sale – we gave you the chance to buy UK shares online for 2 hours for the reduced price of just £3.95 commission per trade.
Christmas – as our Christmas gift to you, we offered 2 hours of £5 commission on all UK purchases online.
Rugby – to celebrate the rugby we reduced international purchase commission to £5 every Friday during the tournament.
Independence Day – we reduced commission to £4 for international trades for one trading day.
Birthday – to celebrate our 14th birthday, we gave customers a week of commission-free international equity trades.
Royal Wedding – we reduced commission to £2 on purchases of UK equities for 2 hours.
These offers were for online customers only. Stamp Duty always applies on UK equities. Foreign currency conversions apply for all international equity trades.
