Change your number
You can do this online
- Our app is the simplest way to change your phone number.
- It can be done in just a few short steps.
- It gives you an extra layer of security when you shop or bank online.

- Sign in and select Your profile in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Select Change my details under Your personal details.
- Select Change your phone numbers under My contact numbers.
- From here, you can add and update all of your phone numbers. You will need to re-enter your password to confirm that it is you.
- The change will take place immediately. Or you will be asked to call us, or go into your local branch, or you will be sent an OPT via post to make the change.
- Once this is done, you'll see the change next time you log on or after 48hrs.
- Sign in and select the Profile and settings icon in the top right corner.
- Select Edit next to your mobile details and then follow the on-screen commands. You will be asked to enter your password to confirm it's you.
- The change will take place immediately. Or you will be asked to call us, or go into your local branch, or you will be sent an OPT via post to make the change.
- Once this is done, you'll see the change next time you log on or after 48hrs.

You can visit your nearest branch to change your phone number.

Phone us on 0345 425 5956 (+44 113 292 0178 from outside the UK). 8am-8pm, seven days a week.
Not all Telephone Banking services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
To change your number over the phone you will need to be registered for Telephone Banking. We will also need to confirm that it's you by asking you for one of the following:
- Telephone Banking security number
- Telephone Banking password
- Voice ID.
You can also call via the Mobile Banking app where we will ask you to verify it's you via the app.
