Cashback Extras enables you to receive personalised cashback offers from participating shops.
To start earning cashback, follow these steps:
You must have a Halifax bank account, aged 18 or over and bank online. Once you're signed in, click Cashback Extras from Your account tools and switch it on.
To earn cashback each offer must be activated online and applies to your next purchase. Simply pay with your Halifax debit card, or credit card if you’re the main cardholder, in line with the retailer’s conditions. Merchant offers and cashback amounts vary.
If you've a card with the wave sign , then shopping is simpler wherever you see the symbol. You can pay for anything up to £30, just touch and go - there's no need to enter a PIN!1
Contactless can be used in a number of shops and restaurants across the UK.

If you’re planning to use your debit card abroad, let us know before you travel through Online Banking using our simple online form.
You can do this by clicking on ‘Going abroad? Tell us’ located under the 'Your account tools' menu on 'My accounts'.
Remember to ensure your contact numbers are up to date. You can do this either online, over the phone or in branch.
If a payment has been made on your account and you don't think it's correct we may be able to help you with claiming the payment back.
