How to upgrade

Upgrading your account to the Reward Current Account is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Here’s how:

  1. Click on the ‘upgrade now’ button below. You’ll be asked to log in to Online Banking.
  2. You’ll automatically be sent to a new page where you can select the account and start the upgrade.
  3. Confirm your personal details and review the features and conditions of the account.

Choose your monthly reward

When you’ve completed your upgrade, simply choose your monthly reward and check how you can qualify to receive your monthly reward.

You can also upgrade through the mobile app

  • Just go to the options menu of the account you want to upgrade.
  • Tap on the three dot menu next to your account.
  • Scroll down and select ‘change account type’ to start the upgrade.

Here’s a reminder of the monthly rewards you can choose from and the qualifying options in order to receive the monthly reward.

  • Spend £500 on your debit card each month


  • Keep £5,000 or above in your account each day of the month

You will also need to pay at least £1,500 into your account each month and keep your balance above £0.

Account fee

Just a reminder that the Reward Current Account comes with a £3 monthly fee for maintaining the account. However, if you pay in £1,500 or more each month we won’t charge you this fee.
