Everyday payments with your Samsung smart device
To protect you from fraud, we may restrict the payments you can make using Samsung Pay.

Samsung Pay works with most Halifax debit cards. There are some card and account types you won’t be able to use with Samsung Pay
To protect you from fraud, we may restrict the value or number of payments you can make using Samsung Pay. Make sure you carry your debit and credit cards with you just in case.
You can add up to 9 cards per device.
Devices don’t share cards. If you want the same card on two different devices, you’ll need to load the card onto each device separately.
You’ll be able to see up to the last 10 transactions made using Samsung Pay on that device. You can also view your recent transactions in our app or online banking.
You can use Samsung Pay in most countries as long as the retailers accepts contactless payments.
Report your card as lost or stolen.
You do not need to do anything. Your replacement card will be loaded to your Samsung Wallet once it has been issued.

When you replace or update your device, you’ll need to add your card to your new device.
Be sure to remove your card from your Samsung Wallet if you no longer use it or sell your phone.
Simply select the relevant card in your Samsung Wallet then select remove card on the 3 dot menu.

Samsung Pay is not available on all debit cards and is not available on credit cards. Restrictions include: Electron cards, non-personal accounts, Basic Bank accounts and customers under 18 years. Samsung wallet app must be downloaded and is available on Samsung devices with contactless capability (NFC), running on the Android 4.4 KitKat Operating system or newer.
