Rename your accounts online
You can do this online
- Rename your accounts to something meaningful to you.
- Our app is the simplest way to rename your account.
- It can be done in just a few short steps.
How to do it
Let us show you step by step.

- Log in and select the account you want to rename. Then, choose the three-dot menu.
- Select Rename account, under Manage Account.
- Enter a new name and select Rename.
- All done, you've renamed an account.

- Sign in and select More actions on the account you want to rename.
- Select Account services. Then under Admin select Rename account.
- Enter a new name and select Rename.
- All done, you've renamed an account.
Get set up online
The Halifax brand is changing to Lloyds
If you don’t currently use online or mobile banking, you can start using the Lloyds app now to see your existing Halifax accounts. Once you’ve downloaded it, you can set it up using your Halifax account details.
