If you already have a protection policy, it will remain in place and continue to provide the cover you agreed to. Your policy terms, cover amount and premiums will not change as a result of this update.
Scottish Widows will continue to administer your protection policy and that’s not changing. You’ll be able to view your details, make changes and get support through Scottish Widows just like you do now.
No. Protection policies purchased through Halifax are provided and administered by Scottish Widows and that isn’t changing. There are no changes to your cover or how your policy is looked after.
No. The cover, premiums and policy terms set out in your policy documents will stay the same.
You can continue managing your policy in the same way you do now and contact us by phone or online. If you choose to use it, the Scottish Widows app is a convenient way to view and manage your policy at any time.
No. This change won’t affect claims. You can make a claim in the same way as before through Scottish Widows by phone or online.
If you’ve started an application and saved it part-way through, you’ll have 30 days to complete it from the day you started it.
