Your loan will stay as Halifax until you've paid it off, so it won't be changing to Lloyds. Your repayments will continue as normal, your terms and conditions won’t change, and you don’t need to do anything. You can keep managing your loan in the Lloyds or Bank of Scotland apps.
You can still apply for a Halifax loan right now, but there will come a time when Halifax loans stop being available. At that point, you'll be able to apply for a Lloyds loan.
If you'd like to keep the same rates as when you started your application, make sure to complete it before moving to the Lloyds app and online banking. If you move part way through your application, you'll need to start from scratch.
If you'd like to make a change to your loan, for example, paying it off early or making a partial early payment, you can do it in the same way as you'd do it now. Get help managing your loan.
If you've moved to the Lloyds app or online banking, you can no longer take out new loans with Halifax through your online banking. It's simple to apply to refinance your existing Halifax loan through your Lloyds app or online banking and your application will be assessed using the same lending criteria. Any new loan you take out will be a Lloyds Bank plc loan.
If you started a loan application in the Halifax app before moving, you'll need to start a new application in the Lloyds app or online banking, as your application has expired.
