Pension planning advice

in partnership with Schroders Personal Wealth

A strategic pension plan could help you to enjoy the retirement lifestyle you’re looking for and make your pension pots work harder.

Expert pension planning advice can help you to consolidate your existing pension plans, make investments and have greater control over how your pension is withdrawn.

Through our partnership with Schroders Personal Wealth, you can access expert pension advice from a team of experienced advisers.

To benefit from pension planning advice, you will need:

  • £100,000 of sole or joint savings, investments and/or personal pensions; and/or:
  • You earn £100,000 or more of sole income.

Fees/Charges will apply if you take out a financial plan, product or service.

Pensions are a long-term investment. The retirement benefits you receive from your pension account will depend on a number of factors including the value of your account when you decide to take your benefits which isn't guaranteed and can go down as well as up. The value of your account could fall below the amount(s) paid in.

How does pension planning work?

Book a free appointment

During an initial 15-minute appointment, you’ll meet your pension adviser and learn about the available services. It’s your chance to explain your ideal vision of the future and find out how Schroders Personal Wealth could help make it happen. This appointment is completely free and there’s no obligation to go further.

Create a pension plan

Having assessed your financial situation and identified any opportunities, your adviser will put a personalised pension plan together. This will include recommendations of financial products and investments, depending on your circumstances.

Implement your plan

There are two ways to put your pension plan into action:

  1. One-off advice. Pay for advice once to receive a personalised plan and detailed outline of your finances.
  2. Ongoing advice. Your adviser will help to implement your plan, with regular contact to review progress. You’ll also be able to adapt your plan to respond to market events or changes in your own circumstances.
