Useful to know
- All cashback earned will show on your monthly statements, making it easy to keep track.
- Cashback will be paid automatically to the credit card account every January. This will reduce your balance, but won’t count towards your minimum payment.
- We will deduct cashback on purchase refunds, credit adjustments or fraudulent transactions, for the month in which the refund or adjustment was made, at the rate you currently earn cashback. If this results in a negative cashback amount on your statement, we won’t take it from your account.
Your standard interest rates will be linked to the Bank of England Base Rate. This means they will change automatically in line with changes to the Base Rate, but any promotional rates and offers you have will not. For more information visit www.halifax.co.uk/base-rate-information. As our standard interest rates are variable it means we can also change them for other reasons in the future if we need to. You can find the standard rates in the Summary Box.

Important information
- You’ll pay interest on your credit card balance, unless you have an introductory rate or clear the full amount every month, so try and repay what you owe as soon as you can.
- Cashback is calculated on each purchase, rounding down to 2 decimal places after the penny.
- We will deduct cashback on purchase refunds, credit adjustments or fraudulent transactions, for the month in which the refund or adjustment was made, at the rate you currently earn cashback. If this results in a negative cashback amount on your statement, we won’t take it from your account.
- Terms and conditions apply. If we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or breach of these terms and conditions, we can stop you and any additional cardholder earning or receiving cashback.
- If your account is closed, cashback earned before closure will be credited to your account.
-
Earn £20 cashback if you spend £1,000 within 90 days of account opening and adhere to the below conditions:
- You must make £1,000 of purchases within 90 days of account opening to qualify for the cashback offer.
- You will lose any promotional offers if you do not make your minimum payment on time, or you go over your credit limit.
- The £20 cashback offer is only payable once per credit card account and will be added to your cashback balance within 12 days of your promotional offer expiry date, as long as the account is still open. The £20 cashback will appear within the cashback balance on your monthly statement. Cashback earnt will be applied to your credit card account in January every year.
- Any purchase refunds, credit adjustments or fraudulent transactions will be deducted from your total spend for the purposes of determining whether you have met the required spend value for the above promotional offer.

- Earn an additional 0.25% cashback (making your cashback earn 0.5% cashback) on further purchases once you have made over £4,000 of purchases per calendar year.
- We calculate cashback on each purchase, rounding down to 2 decimal places after the penny. We add up all the cashback you earn and show the running total on your monthly statement. Cashback earnt will be applied to your credit card account in January every year. You don’t earn cashback on payment protection transactions (if this applies).
- You will lose any promotional offers if you do not make your minimum payment on time, or you go over your credit limit.
- Any Purchase refunds, credit adjustments or fraudulent transactions will be deducted from your total spend for the purposes of determining the rate at which you earn cashback. If your total spend falls below £4,000, you will revert to earning 0.25% cashback.
