I confirm:
 

  • I know what capitalisation means and I want to do this.
  • I can afford the new estimated monthly payment and it won’t cause financial difficulty.
  • I know that rolling the amount I’m behind by into my mortgage term will cost more over time than paying it off sooner.
  • I have made this decision independently and understand that you have not provided me with any financial advice.
  • Everyone named on the mortgage is happy to proceed with capitalisation.

 


 

I understand:
 

  • I need to make sure any life or sickness insurance covers my mortgage commitments.
  • If any part of my mortgage is interest only,  I understand that I’ll need to repay the full amount I owe by the end of my mortgage term, and I’ll need to have a plan in place to do this.
  • If I don’t pay by direct debit, I’ll need to make sure I update my payment to match the new monthly amount once capitalisation is complete.
