- Sign in and under Get add-ons on Cashback Extras, select Find out more.
- Select Set up Cashback Extras and follow the on-screen instructions to opt in if you haven't already.
- All done, activate the offers you're interested in. You can review your offers at any time.
- Sign in and find or search Cashback Extras.
- Select Yes, sign me up and follow the on-screen instructions to opt in if you haven't already.
- All done, activate the offers you're interested in. You can review your offers at any time.

You can't activate Cashback Extras in a branch or over the phone. Instead, you'll need our app or Online Banking.

Eligibility
- You have to be aged 18 or older.
- You need a Halifax debit or credit card.
- You have to be registered for Online Banking. How to register.

You’ll receive your cashback on or before the last working day of the month after your redeeming transaction. For example, if you redeemed your offer in January, we’ll pay your cashback into your account at the end of February.

If you have more than one Halifax account, we’ll pay your cashback into the oldest account. You can select a different Halifax bank account for us to pay your cashback into. Do this in your Cashback Extras settings.
If you choose to pay your cashback to your credit card, the cashback won’t count towards your minimum monthly payment. You’ll still need to make that to meet the terms of your credit agreement. Cashback will reduce your outstanding balance though, which is still pretty handy.
You need to stay registered for Cashback Extras to receive your cashback.

You can keep track of the cashback you’ve earnt from your offers at the top of your Cashback Extras page. It may take up to five working days before your cashback shows as pending.
You can also see:
- how much cashback you’ve been paid and
- how much you’ve earnt over the last three months, including a breakdown of the qualifying transactions.

You need our app or Online Banking to activate Cashback Extras. How to register.
Once you receive your signing in details, you’ll be able to view and activate cashback offers that interest you.

To enter, just activate the prize draw offer in the Cashback Extras section of the app or through online banking.
You must be a UK resident aged 18 or over and registered for Cashback Extras by 19 September 2025 to enter.
The prize draw will be open from 01 to 31 October 2025. Winners will be drawn within 7 days of the closing date and notified by letter.
