How to apply for a loan repayment holiday

A repayment holiday gives you a break from paying your monthly loan repayment. You can apply for up to two repayment holidays of one month in a rolling 12-month period, depending on approval.

You can do this online as long as you

  • Have made at least one repayment and have a direct debit in place.
  • Are up to date with your loan repayments.
  • Have 30 days or more remaining on your loan term.

If you take a repayment holiday, interest will be charged.

You’ll pay more interest overall and the original term will extend.

We'll tell you of the extra interest before we complete your repayment holiday.
