We’ve got some changes in store for your mobile app

We’re always trying to make your app better. And one of the main ways we do that is by listening to what you want.

With each app update you can expect to see new features, bug fixes and other improvements. Here are a few of the things we’ve been working on:

  • A new look homepage with updated navigation – to help you find your way around the app more easily.
  • Cheque Deposit - pay in cheques up to £500 using your device’s camera and the money should clear in just two days.
  • Screen resizing – so the app fills your screen, whatever its size.
  • Touch ID on iPad – so you can sign in securely with just your fingerprint.
  • Hassle-free calls from the app – as we already know it’s you, we can skip the usual security questions.
  • Freeze transactions for extra peace of mind – for those times when you temporarily misplace your card.

We’ve got lots more in the pipeline too – so keep your eyes peeled for updates.

Banking with your iPad

Until recently, the easiest way to bank on your iPad was with our Express sign in for iPad app. However, we’ve now rebuilt our Mobile Banking app, so it works better on tablets. This means you can get all the features currently available to mobile customers on your iPad.

You'll be able to:

  • Sign in quickly and securely using Touch ID or your memorable information
  • Quickly make payments to new and existing payees
  • Deposit cheques up to £500
  • Plus much more.

We don't charge you for Mobile Banking but your mobile operator may charge you for certain services (such as downloading or using the app), so please check with them. Services may be affected by phone signal and functionality. The app works on all iPads running the latest iOS. The app is not compatible with some older versions of the operating systems – check the App Store or Google Play for more details. If you have another type of device, you will still be able to access Online Banking through your web browser.
