Moving cash into your Stocks and Shares ISA

If you’d like to transfer money from your Share Dealing Account or ShareBuilder into your Stocks and Shares ISA then you may be able to do this online.

We can only transfer money into an active ISA. Please confirm that you’re happy to agree to the below Stocks and Shares ISA declaration before completing the form.
 

ISA Declaration

I declare that:

  • All subscriptions made, and to be made, belong to me;
  • I am 18 years of age or over;
  • I have not subscribed, and will not subscribe, more than the overall subscription limit in total to any combination of permitted ISAs in the same tax year.
  • I have not subscribed, and will not subscribe, to another stocks and shares ISA in the same tax year that I subscribe to this stocks and shares ISA, and;
  • I am resident in the United Kingdom for tax purposes or, if not so resident, either perform duties which, by virtue of Section 28 of the Income Tax (Earnings & Pensions) Act 2003 (Crown employees serving overseas), are treated as being performed in the United Kingdom, or I am married to, or in a civil partnership with, a person who performs such duties. I will inform Halifax Share Dealing Limited if I cease to be so resident or to perform such duties or be married to, or in a civil partnership with, a person who performs such duties.

Important details at a glance

  • Money which is settled (showing as ‘Available to withdraw’), should be transferred to your ISA within 1 working day.
  • Money which is unsettled (showing as just ‘Available to invest’) can only be transferred to your ISA once your trade has settled. If you submit this form, we will transfer the money on your trade’s settlement day and we will endeavour to make it available in your ISA within 1 working day.
  • If your available headroom is less than the amount you have asked to transfer, we will only transfer the maximum allowed.
